The group said:

We are confident he will bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to bear in decoupling the state from federal allocation and creating wealth for the teeming youth, considering his track record of human empowerments, man power, capacity development, his wealth of knowledge in the green and red chambers of the National Assembly, and service to his community and experience in the banking sector.”

Continuing, the group said;Prince Otu is the leader for today, and we are confident that Cross River State will be better off with him.”
