Gunmen on the loose in Calabar, kidnapped Prof. George, a CRUTECH lecturer, and two others
Professor George Iniodu, a lecturer at the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), has been abducted by armed robbers.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the activist and publisher of CrossRiverWatch revealed that a staff of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), Babara Brownson and Mike Njagu were also abducted last night near Ikot Efa by Ashley Restaurant, Calabar.
This is the first kidnapping incident to be reported since Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu took over as the executive governor of Cross River State. All attempts to reach the state commissioner of police, however, were unsuccessful.
