The court has confirmed Lamidi Apapa as the authentic Chairman of the Labour Party, News Week Nigeria reports.
News Week Nigeria reports that the presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi has landed in fresh crisis following the recognition of Lamidi Apapa as Labour Party National chairman by the court.

In a fresh ruling this afternoon, the court recognized Lamidi Apapa as the acting national chairman of the party pending any other court order.
In his reaction, Lamidi Apapa appreciated the court and issued a stern warning to any other person parading himself as the chairman of the party.
He also ordered Peter Obi’s lawyers to report to him in 48 hours in order to be briefed about the ongoing election tribunal.
