Governor Prince Otu Suspends Ayade’s ongoing recruitment of civil servants in Cross River
Senator Bassey Otu, governor of Cross River State, has issued an order immediately suspending all civil service recruitment until further notice.
In a press release issued by his chief press secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbeche, Governor Otu also ordered all state employees to submit to background checks and documentation.

In keeping with the desire of the Cross River State Government to reposition the state civil service to meet contemporary service delivery objectives and to make it possible for the government to effectively plan for the general welfare of our hardworking civil servants.

“All civil servants are required to submit to screening and documentation at a future date in the office of the Secretary to the State Government.
