Agboola Ajayi, a former deputy governor of Ondo state, polled 264 votes out of 621 casted votes to win the governorship ticket of the PDP.

Agboola will faceoff with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa (APC) in Ondo State governorship election scheduled for November 16, 2024.
