Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni was stopped for using the BRT lane, and a video of their confrontation has gone viral on-line.

Recall that on Monday, August 1, Rufai rushed to Twitter to criticize the police officers who had stopped him for utilizing the BRT bus lane.
He claimed that whereas forcibly taking away his car, the officers brandished a gun at him. He acknowledged his wrongdoing and expressed his willingness to pay the price. But he was indignant about how the police dealt with him.

After his unhealthy encounter with the officers, he’s proven threatening to name the state governor on this new footage.
Speaking by his deal with, he stated that a police officer had pulled a revolver on him, taken his automobile keys by pressure, and fled the scene.
He claimed that “a Nigerian police officer pointed a gun at me, snatched my keys forcibly, and drove off with my car to enforce a traffic penalty.”
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Command’s Public Relations Officer, disagreed with him.
In response to Rufai’s tweet, Hundeyin said that the morning present co-host for Arise Tv ignored the officers and resisted them after driving by a BRT lane.
“Rufai, let’s not do this,” he wrote. You acknowledged passing a BRT lane to me. It is prohibited by legislation. Your assertion that Google Maps guided you there may be unfaithful.You fought the cops and disobeyed them. Upon verification, we’ll self-discipline the offending officer.
