UK Government Dissolves Peter Obi’s Company, ‘Next International Limited’

UK Government has dissolved Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s company, Next International Limited.
Peter Obi, a politician from Nigeria and presidential candidate for the Labour Party, owns a major portion of the business Next International (UK) Limited, which was disqualified by UK authorities for failing to submit its annual reports.
Following a first and second gazette notice of “compulsory” strike off, the firm was erased from the records in September 2021.
This kind of strike off is imposed on a company in the UK for failing to file yearly accounts or inform Companies House of a change in the address of the official registered office.

Once a company is struck off, its details will be removed from the Companies House register, and the company ceases to exist.
This process involves at least two formal letters being sent by the Companies House Registrar as a warning before the company is struck off.
