Tribunal sacks APC Senator, orders fresh election
Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal has sacked the Senator representing Kogi East at the National Assembly, Alhaji Jibrin Isah Echocho.
The Tribunal in Lokoja ordered a re-run election between Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho of All Progress Congress, APC and Dr. Victor Adoji of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

In its ruling, the Tribunal ordered the re-run in 94 Polling units with over 70,000 Votes.
The judgement read,
“After examining the petition before the Honourable court, it has ordered a re-run as in the Eastern Senatorial District as requested by the Petitioner, Dr. Victor Adoji of PDP.
