Tribunal: Drama as PDP witnesses appear in court with cutlass
A mild drama played out on Friday at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta the Ogun state capital, as two of the three witnesses of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chose to take their oath with cutlass.
The witnesses were Adeeso Abiodun and Akinyemi Oluwanifemi, while the third witness is the son of the PDP senatorial women leader in the state.

However, all the witnesses surprised many at the tribunal when they made same statements, word for word, while taking their oaths.
Findings show that all the witnesses came from Sagamu in the Ogun East Senatorial District of the State.
At first, arguments ensued as some people expressed reservations about the development, even as counsels to respondents insisted those witnesses must say the oath correctly by invoking the spirit behind the object, known as Ogun, the Yoruba god of iron.
