Tinubu’s Second Term Not Guaranteed, His Supporters Are Noise Makers —Primate Ayodele Warns

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a strong warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, cautioning that his return for a second term in 2027 is far from guaranteed.

Speaking during the public unveiling of the 31st edition of his annual prophecy book, “Warnings to the Nations (2025/2026 Edition),” on Saturday, Primate Ayodele urged the President to act swiftly and decisively if he hopes to retain power beyond his current tenure.

According to the cleric, overconfidence and complacency within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) could open the door for a growing opposition coalition, now aligning with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), to pull off an upset in the next general election.

If he should rely on his strength, the coalition party can bring surprises and fight with the ruling party,” Ayodele warned. “This election will go further than what he thinks. Tinubu must act fast. He should do what is unimaginable if he wants to win. Listen to everything, work on everything — it’s not business as usual.”

Ayodele revealed that the prophecy book, which was compiled in April 2025, had foreseen the shift of the opposition coalition from the Alliance for Democratic Action (ADA) to the ADC — a move that could signal serious momentum ahead of the 2027 presidential elections.

Beyond electoral strategy, the prophet cautioned Tinubu not to be swayed by the influx of political figures into the APC, stressing that many of them are not genuine supporters.

“Don’t be deceived,” Ayodele declared. “He should forget about the number of people coming to his party. Many of them are betrayers. They are only there to make noise.”

He further listed six key areas which, if mismanaged, could be used by opponents to destabilize Tinubu’s administration and erode public trust. These include security, the economy, ethnic tensions, energy policy, the creation of new states, and youth employment and development.

“Those six things,” Ayodele said, “will be used as tools to shake this government. Tinubu must not ignore these warnings.”
