A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC, Jesutega Onokpasa is dead, News Week Nigeria reports.
Onokpasa is a lawyer and political commentator who has been actively involved in Nigerian politics. He is a member of the APC (All Progressives Congress) Publicity Committee and the APC Presidential campaign council in 2023.

He gained widespread attention following his clash with AriseTV’s Rufai Oseni during a live programme.
He always expressed very strong views in favour of the Tinubu-led administration until recently, where he stated he wouldn’t support Tinubu in 2027 despite been an APC member. He cited the President’s handling of insecurity, economic hardship and non-recognition of loyalists and core supporters.
