Tinubu Presidency to ‘cut-short’ as Nigerian youth go on rampage, mobilise massively 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration may be heading toward turbulent waters if urgent steps are not taken to address the growing discontent among Nigerian youths, spiritual leader Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned.

According to a statement by his spokesman, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele indicated that Nigerian youths are planning significant protests against the Tinubu administration. These demonstrations, he explained, would be a direct result of the widespread frustration experienced by young people under the current government.

The cleric emphasized that insufficient efforts have been made to support the youth. He urged President Tinubu to prioritize youth empowerment and employment initiatives before May 2026 to ensure the stability of his administration.

Furthermore, Primate Ayodele advised the President to leverage the Minister of Youth effectively to engage with young people nationwide and preempt future challenges.

“The youths are planning a surge against Tinubu’s government; they want to protest against the economy, election, and some other things frustrating them,” Primate Ayodele stated.

“I want the president to make a strong move on the youth matter so it won’t cause his government problems.” He reiterated the necessity of creating empowerment and employment opportunities for the youth before May 2026, not solely for electoral gain, but as a critical measure to stabilize the government.

“The youths will go on a rampage. Don’t take the youths for granted. You should not enable youths for thuggery, but for the betterment of the country, create jobs for them, empower the best students in tertiary institutions, and do more for them.“You have a very talented youth minister who listens to advice and knows how to get to the youth. Utilize him adequately for this purpose.”The prophet called on the president not to focus on the ‘Big Boys’ youths because they don’t vote
