Tinubu is like a poison, you can’t eat and survive, more spiritual than Obasanjo — Ayodele warns Atiku, others

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, claiming that a second term in office could provoke an attempted military coup.

Speaking during the public unveiling of his annual prophetic publication Warnings to the Nations (2025/2026) on Saturday, July 5, Primate Ayodele said high-ranking military officers could be enticed with money to orchestrate an unconstitutional seizure of power should Tinubu win reelection in 2027.

“If he eventually wins the second term, they will use everything to take him out of power, including an attempted coup,” Ayodele stated, expressing concern over growing internal resistance to the president’s rule.

The controversial cleric urged President Tinubu to take urgent steps to overhaul his security structure, warning that betrayal may come from within.

“I see an attempt to take power from him in an unconstitutional manner. God is warning him to take his personal safety very seriously. What I saw was a coup-like situation and tension everywhere,” he said.

Ayodele, known for his politically charged prophecies, also offered a spiritual take on Tinubu’s leadership, describing the president as “not an ordinary being,” and someone with deep, mysterious influence.

“He is like a poison that you can’t eat and survive. He is more spiritual than Obasanjo and others, but many politicians don’t understand these mysteries about him,” Ayodele claimed.

This latest prophecy adds to a series of bold political predictions by Ayodele, who has become known for his often controversial messages directed at Nigerian leaders. The Presidency has yet to respond to the cleric’s remarks.
