Stop apologising, you’re killing the confidence of Obidient Movement — Shehu Sani advises Peter Obi
The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has been advised to stop denouncing, apologising for, and distancing himself from remarks made by some of his supporters by Shehu Sani, a former senator from Kaduna State, News Week Nigeria reports.
For a very long time, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has consistently had a tendency to condemn, apologise for, and distance himself from certain remarks and online harassment that is being carried out by some people who are allegedly his supporters.

Recently, the Labour Party candidate decried the attacks on Pastor Adeboye and other well-known Nigerians carried out by his alleged supporters on social media. In response, Senator Shehu Sani stated on Twitter that if Peter Obi continued to apologise to people for the words and deeds of his supporters, he would kill the spirit of his movement.
The former senator said this while claiming that individuals like President Buhari, Atiku Abubakar, Ahmed Tinubu, and the candidate for the People’s Democratic Party have never distanced themselves from or expressed regret for the actions or words of their supporters.
