Southern British High School Emerges Overall Best At Mathematics Competition

Southern British High School in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, has emerged as the overall best at the National Mathematics Tournament competition 

The competition organised by Catalyst Consulting Limited Lagos – Nigeria had Southern British High School Calabar securing overall best in the junior secondary schools, followed closely by St. Gregory College Lagos, Barakat College Oyo State, and Loyola Jesuit Memorial College Rivers State in the second and third positions, respectively.

The school was represented at the competition by a JSS 2 student, Miss Ambo Amanda Antigha, who scored 50/50 to emerge the overall best Mathematician in Nigeria Junior Secondary Schools.

Recall that the Southern British High School had also in December 2023 emerged the overall best in Essay Competition organised by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission where the school defeated 1,200 other secondary schools to clinch the first prize of N300,000.
