Regina Daniels Sets To Divorce Ned Nwoko, Says She ‘Now Has a Roof Over Her Head’
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked widespread speculation about an impending divorce from her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, following a cryptic social media post hinting at the end of their six-year marriage.
In a recent Instagram post, the 25-year-old actress shared a picture of a new house alongside a caption that read: “I have a roof over my head and the next is divorce.” The post has fueled rumours of a serious rift between the couple, whose marriage has often been in the public eye due to their significant age gap and Nwoko’s polygamous lifestyle.

The latest development comes amid a deepening marital crisis between the pair. Weeks earlier, a viral video had circulated online showing Daniels accusing Nwoko of domestic violence — a claim the senator firmly denied, insisting he has always treated his wives and children with love and respect.
Nwoko, 64, who represents Delta North Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly, recently defended his decision to marry multiple wives during an interview with Channels Television. Comparing monogamy to “standing on one leg,” he said he felt sorry for men who have only one wife.
“Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg — you know how difficult it is,” Nwoko said. “But it is much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four.”
The senator, who is currently married to four women, including Regina Daniels, said he has no regrets about his choices and would make the same decisions again if given the chance.

Recounting how he met Daniels, Nwoko explained that he was determined to marry a woman from his hometown in Delta State, and the actress fit the description of what he wanted in a wife.
“I married her because she is from my place,” he said. “Before Regina, my uncles brought some local girls and said, ‘You must marry this one or that one,’ but I said they didn’t meet the criteria of what I want. I can’t marry a woman who is not a virgin — I can’t, and I wouldn’t.”
Nwoko added that Daniels fulfilled his expectations not only in virtue but also in lifestyle, embracing his family’s culture of sportsmanship, particularly tennis and swimming.
“I told her every member of my family must do sport. She asked, ‘What sport?’ and I told her you must play tennis and swim. And now she does it better than everyone,” he said proudly.
Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko tied the knot on May 26, 2019, in a traditional ceremony held in Aniocha Local Government Area of Delta State. Their union drew widespread attention at the time, with public debates over their 39-year age difference.
