Peter Obi’s lead lawyer breaks Silence after helping Governor Adeleke to secure victory at the Supreme Court
The Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Senator Ademola Adeleke’s victory as governor of Osun State in the most recent election is no longer breaking news.
Recall that the immediate past governor, who lost at the poll, attempted to overturn Senator Adeleke’s victory.
Following the Supreme Court’s decision earlier today, Dr. Livy Uzoukwu, SAN, the lead attorney who represented Adeleke, spoke with the media.
In the presidential election petition tribunal, Livy Uzoukwu, SAN, who also represents Mr. Peter Obi, expressed his satisfaction with the decision.

He claimed that by ensuring that justice was ultimately upheld, the judges who handled the case earned his appreciation.
“We give thanks to God for Supreme Court justices. They acted in accordance with justice after seeing it. Since the incident occurred four years ago, my client Governor Adeleke has been fighting this case for a long time. He made every effort to ensure his victory.
“He was given a mandate by the people, and we are able to uphold that mandate thanks to God’s grace. We express our sincere gratitude to the Supreme Court’s justices for observing the location of the justice.
