Nkem Okeke Biography
Distinguished Nigerian politician Okeke, is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Since the 17th of March, 2014, Okeke has served as the Deputy Governor of Anambra State under All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, until his defection to APC on October 13th 2021.

He was led by APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Mai Mala Buni, to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari, where he officially decamped to APC.

Okeke in Enugwu-Ukwu, he first served as Anambra State Commissioner for Economic Planning, and then as Anambra State Commissioner for Works and Transport during the administration of Governor Peter Obi. He later returned to academia as a lecturer and department head at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
He was previously the Head of the Department of Economics at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Nigeria.
