Bishop Mathew Kukah, the Catholic bishop of Sokoto, has said that he will not judge President-elect Bola Tinubu because the future of Nigeria lays in his hands despite the fact that People are disappointed in the APC-led government.
Channels Television reports that in an Easter sermon delivered in Sokoto, Kukah said that Nigerians are sad because the political elite have invaded Tinubu’s hallowed temples, releasing toxic gases that threaten his reputation as the last hope of the citizens. Kukah added that he was sorry that Tinubu’s name had been damaged so severely by those seeking justice on their own terms.

Kukah countered by saying that, despite the widespread disappointment, he will not share others’ judgment of Tinubu since the future of Nigeria is in the hands of those who understand the spirit of our laws.

He declared, “Even though many people are disappointed, I will not pass judgment on Tinubu because Nigeria’s destiny rests in his hands.
