Omajemite made this call while speaking to journalists in a one-day lecture organised by the Humanitarian Movement for Development (HMD) titled “the media and fake news”.

By sharing resources, expertise, and information, media organisations can create fact-checking networks, promote media literacy initiatives, and support responsible journalism practises.
