NAF Opens Application for DSSC 34/2025 Enlistment

 

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially announced the commencement of online applications for enlistment into the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025, inviting qualified graduates and postgraduates across the country to apply.

 

Application Process
Applications are free of charge and must be completed online via the official portal: nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng

 

 

Upon submission, applicants are required to print and submit key documents, including:

Acknowledgment Form

Parent/Guardian Consent Form

Local Government Area Attestation Form (signed by authorized officials)

📅 Registration opens on Wednesday, 27th August 2025, and closes Tuesday, 7th October 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth.

Age limits:

General applicants: 20–32 years

Medical Doctors/Consultants: 25–40 years

Minimum height: 1.66m (males), 1.63m (females)

Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit

Applicants must have no criminal record

Academic & Professional Requirements
Minimum qualification: Second Class Upper Division (degree holders) or Upper Credit (HND holders)

Higher qualifications, such as MSc/MA, professional certifications, and computer literacy, will be considered an advantage

Candidates must have at least 5 credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings

The NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter is mandatory

Medical applicants must provide evidence of registration with relevant professional bodies in Nigeria

Important Notes
The exercise is not open to serving personnel seeking a Branch Commission.

Only recommended serving personnel who meet the criteria may apply.

A Zonal Aptitude Test will be conducted on a later date, with details available via the NAF recruitment portal.
