A fresh warning has emerged from the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, who has cautioned President Bola Tinubu and security authorities to remain vigilant amid what he described as growing discontent within the military.

In a video posted on Facebook, Ayodele said Nigerians should pay close attention to developments in December, particularly from the 18th of the month, hinting that “significant events” could unfold that may not align with public expectations.

“December, December, December. As from 18th, they might be planning something else, different from the way we are looking,” he said, stressing that certain actors may be working behind the scenes with intentions not yet clear to the public.

The cleric warned that the situation requires heightened vigilance from those in power, insisting that “they must watch” because “these people have not relent.”

Ayodele also expressed concerns about lingering dissatisfaction within the military, suggesting that unresolved issues could translate into security risks if not handled decisively.

“You understand, military are still angry,” he stated, urging the government to carry out further strategic actions to maintain stability within the armed forces. According to him, additional internal restructuring may be necessary: “Then they should change. Should change more. He should do another redeployment, reshuffle, reshuffle. Should do another one.”
