Kwankwaso, Akpabio Tipped for Joint Presidential Ticket in 2031
A respected cleric in Akwa Ibom State, Prophet Francis Udo, has predicted a dramatic political realignment ahead of Nigeria’s 2031 general elections, claiming that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Senate President Godswill Akpabio will run together on a joint presidential ticket.
The founder of the Prayer Foundation Network, which has branches across all 31 local government areas in Akwa Ibom, made the revelation during an exclusive interview with South South Punch in Uyo on Wednesday.

According to Prophet Udo, a divine vision revealed that after President Bola Tinubu’s tenure, power would shift back to Northern Nigeria, with former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, emerging as the next president.
“In the dream God showed me, Kwankwaso will return to the All Progressives Congress (APC), first as Tinubu’s vice president, and eventually, he will become the party’s presidential flagbearer and then president,” Udo claimed.
The cleric also disclosed that Senator Akpabio, a former Akwa Ibom governor and current Senate President, would be Kwankwaso’s running mate in the 2031 election.

Beyond the presidency, Prophet Udo predicted major leadership changes within the federal government. He stated that Femi Gbajabiamila, currently Chief of Staff to the President, would become Senate President, while the Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, is destined to emerge as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
Akwa Ibom Politics: Ekpo Tipped to Succeed Eno
On the state level, Prophet Udo foresaw a leadership transition in Akwa Ibom. He predicted that Obongemem Ekperikpe Ekpo, the Minister of State for Petroleum (Gas), would succeed Governor Umo Eno in 2031 when the governorship is expected to rotate back to the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District (Akwa Ibom North-West).

He further revealed that Prince Enobong Uwah, the current Secretary to the State Government, would run alongside Ekpo as deputy governor. According to the prophet, Governor Eno is also set to contest for the Senate seat representing Akwa Ibom North-East after completing his second term.
While he noted that a minor political conflict might arise between Uwah and Governor Eno, he assured that it would be resolved amicably in favor of the new ticket.
Prophet Udo concluded by thanking his prayer network for their unwavering spiritual support, which, he said, enabled his prophetic insight. He also commended Dr. Victor Antai, Director of Projects at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), for his developmental contributions to Akwa Ibom State.
