BREAKING: Billionaire Jowizaza’s Father Regains Freedom After Being Abducted in Anambra

Chief J. J. Ezeokafor, father of Nigerian socialite Jowizaza, has regained his freedom after he was abducted by armed criminals in Anambra State.

The Anambra State Police Command confirmed that Ezeokafor and a Rev. Sister, who were abducted at Ifite-Awka, have been safely released.

Ezeokafor, a prominent businessman, was kidnapped in the early hours of Tuesday, August 4, shortly after leaving his residence for a prayer ground in Awka.

Confirming the development, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the command had commenced efforts to establish the circumstances surrounding the victims’ release.

Ikenga said the police were also working to obtain information that could assist the ongoing investigation and lead to the identification and arrest of those behind the abduction.

According to him, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, commended the safe return of the victims and directed security operatives to intensify intelligence-led operations and the search for the perpetrators.

The ongoing operation, Ikenga said, involves the police, Department of State Services (DSS), military, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Agunechemba Security Operatives and other relevant security agencies.

The command said efforts remain ongoing to unravel the circumstances of the abduction and bring those responsible to justice.
