How Joseph Egbunike, police DIG investigating Abba Kyari died mysteriously

There have been recent revelations made regarding the passing of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Joseph Egbunike.
According to the reports, up until the time of his passing, Egbunike served as head of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Force.
The official in charge of the investigation was said to have passed away on Tuesday after collapsing at his place of employment in Abuja, which is located in the Federal Capital Territory.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police, who was originally from Onitsha in Anambra State and served as the head of the Special Investigation Panel, was in charge of looking into the actions of Abba Kyari, the suspended head of the Police Intelligence Response Team, who was accused of money laundering.
According to the reports, Egbunike sought medical attention from his physician after experiencing feelings of illness on his part.
The senior officer, who was said to have driven to work while family members watched from the passenger seat, became unresponsive and passed away a few minutes after being given some medication.
Egbunike hails from Onitsha, which is located in the state of Anambra, and he has served in the Nigerian Police Force for the past 33 years.
