In response to the rising tide of human rights abuses and violations across the globe, the International Human Rights Protection Service (IHRPS) has announced plans to release a comprehensive Human Rights Abuse and Violation Index for the West African sub-region by June this year.
Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja, the IHRPS Special Envoy to West Africa, Dr. Charles Omini, disclosed the upcoming report, emphasizing its importance in highlighting the scale of abuses, particularly in vulnerable communities.

Dr. Omini expressed deep concern over the alarming rates of child trafficking across West Africa, calling it a crisis that demands immediate and sustained action. He revealed that the organization is forging strategic partnerships and collaborations with relevant agencies and stakeholders to strengthen efforts in combating child trafficking and protecting children’s rights across the region.
Reaffirming the IHRPS’s unwavering commitment to human rights, Ambassador Omini stressed the organization’s zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse against humanity. He issued a stern warning to individuals and networks involved in child trafficking, stating that justice will be served without exception, regardless of status or position.
