Information available to NEWS WEEK NIGERIA revealed that Nyesom Wike has reportedly written a special letter to the anti-graft agencies including the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) requesting they invite Buhari’s former Minister of FCT Mallam Muhammed M Bello for special interrogation concerning financial activities at the FCT.

In particular, the former minister is to explain how he awarded 1km road from Gwagwada estate junction to NCDC Office at the Cost of 4Billion Naira paid in full.
—Award of contract of N10 billion which was later jacked up to a whopping sum of N119 billion.
—Award of a contract of N50 billion which was later increased to N200 billion.
