Easter: APC National Women Leader, Betta Edu Urges Nigerians To Pray for Nation’s Unity, Peace

 

The National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Betta Edu, has urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in prayers for unity, peace and progress of the country.

 

Edu made the call in a message to Christians in the country on the celebration of Easter, and said that she is optimistic that the challenges facing the country will give way to breakthroughs.

In a message she personally signed, Betta Eud urged Nigerian Christians to pray for unity, peace, and progress of the country.

 

She said:

“I call on Nigerians to remain steadfast in prayers for unity, peace and progress of the country. I am optimistic that the  challenges facing the country will give way to breakthroughs in several facets of National Life when Nigerians do not relent in prayers, hard work, diligence and patriotic contributions to nation-building. 

 

“The Spirit of the risen Christ which the reason symbolises should be imbibed by Christians in their devotion to God Almighty.

“While wishing all Nigerians a Happy Easter Celebration, I re-affirmed the Commitment of His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President-Elect, Federal Republic of Nigeria to improve the lives and living conditions of Nigerian People through his Renewed Hope Agenda.
