Senator Dino Melaye ‘s hopes of returning to the National Assembly have been dashed by delegates who voted extra for his political rival, Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf, on Tuesday night.

Dino Melaye was defeated by TJ Yusuf, who’s presently representing Kabba/Bunu Ijumu Federal seat and obtained 163 votes, underneath the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket.
TJ Yusuf, a three-term member of the House of Representatives, had tied Dino on Monday night time with 88 votes every, forcing a rematch.
