The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has launched a fresh attack against media personality and politician, Dele Momodu, describing him as a beggar.
Speaking during a recent interview on Channels Television, Wike accused Momodu of lacking credibility and went further to make demeaning personal remarks about the publisher of Ovation magazine.

“Dele Momodu does not have any credibility,” Wike stated bluntly. “Even when he’s eating, food drops from his mouth and falls on the floor. He lived in my house. He’s broke, a beggar, and disgusting.”
The remarks have sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians criticizing the Minister’s comments as undignified and unnecessarily personal. Others say the outburst reflects deeper political animosity between the two public figures.
Wike and Momodu, once thought to be on cordial terms, have clashed publicly in recent months over political differences and party allegiances.
