The Provosts, management, and students of the Cross River State College of Nursing Sciences have extended their congratulations to Coco-Bassey Esu on his recent appointment as the Special Assistant on Nursing Affairs to Governor Bassey Otu.
In a series of congratulatory messages, signed by Provosts from the institution’s various branches, the academic leaders praised Governor Prince Bassey Otu for recognizing Coco-Bassey Esu’s capabilities and appointing him to this significant role.

Among the Provosts who conveyed their felicitations were Mrs. Ohora Osim Enyieko from the College of Nursing, Ogoja; Mrs. Ruth Ebong Ita from the College of Nursing Science, Itigidi; Mrs. Joy Obetem from the College of Nursing Science, Calabar; and Dr. (Mrs.) Victoria Undeshi from the College of Nursing, Obudu.
The State President of the National Association of Nigeria Student Nurses and Midwives, Cross River State Chapter (NANSNMCRS), Adaka ThankGod Bassey, also expressed his congratulations to Coco-Bassey Esu. In his message, he conveyed his best wishes for Esu’s success in his new role.
“I want to start by congratulating you on your appointment as the Special Assistant on Nursing Affairs. I wish you nothing but the best, sir, in your office, and the capacity to act beyond expectations,” Adaka wrote.

Additionally, Rt. Hon. Sunday Ukpong, Speaker of the NAPPS 7th Parliament at the University of Calabar, offered his thanks to Coco-Bassey for his continued support and dedication to Nigerian students.
“I want to specially thank the leader of this great citadel of learning, a leader, brother, and a true representative of the students of the University of Calabar, Dr. Coco-Bassey Esu, SA to the governor of Cross River State on Nursing. Thank you for all you have done for the Nigerian student and the things you will keep doing,” Ukpong stated in his message.
