President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently out of the country, is expected to stay longer in the UK, News Week Nigeria reports.

In the last few hours, President Buhari was hosted to a dinner by the Nigerian Ambassador to the UK, Ambassador Tunji and he was expected to fly down to Nigeria thereafter to prepare his handover note ahead May 29 when leadership is due for change in the seat of power. But that has changed.

President Muhammadu Buhari will be in London, United Kingdom, for an additional week, at the behest of his dentist, who has started attending to him.
The specialist is required to see the president in another five days for a procedure already commenced.
President Buhari had joined other world leaders to attend the coronation of King Charles lll on May 6, 2023.
