In what appears like a joke, Engr. Tom Steve, a well-known activist from Rivers State, has revealed plans by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, to run for president in the 2027 elections 

 

NewsWeek Nigeria reports that Tom Steve revealed these plans following accusations that he received a substantial sum of N515,000,000 (five hundred and fifteen million naira) from the suspended Speaker, Martin Amaewhule.

The accusation, which has stirred significant controversy, has brought to light the political maneuvers occurring behind the scenes.

 

In a leaked conversation obtained by NewsWeek Nigeria, it was revealed that Amaewhule was allegedly seeking support on behalf of Wike for the upcoming 2027 presidential election.

 

 

NewsWeek Nigeria gathered that the conversation between Engr. Tom Steve and one of his friends has onxe again shed more light on the political maneuvering happening behind the scenes in anticipation of the upcoming election

He wrote:”Martins Amaewhule is a a pathetic LIAR and a frustrated blind pet. I neither agreed to support him nor collect #515, 000,000 (five hundred and fifteen million naira) from him.”

 

“While I was away on a special duty, my friend, who’s also working with Martins, sent me these messages.”

 

“@SamuelNwanosike, warn your king of clowns to be very careful and stop being delusional. I shall never watch my state fingered by an unscrupulous greedy emperor and his blind pets. Since ages, till date, my family has been there for the state, and we shall continue to stand tall.”
