We Will Remove Tinubu’s Government From Power — Former Police Affairs Minister Declares
Former Minister of Police Affairs, Adamu Waziri, has made a bold declaration, stating his readiness to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration through democratic means if such an opportunity were available today.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Waziri openly criticized the current government, expressing deep dissatisfaction with its performance.

However, he emphasized that any effort to remove the administration must be within the bounds of the law and Nigeria’s democratic framework.
“If I have the democratic means to remove this government tomorrow, I would remove this government,” Waziri stated firmly. “But I don’t have the democratic means, so I have to wait for two years to do so. We are not toppling this government as [Presidential aide] Onanuga said. We are going to democratically remove this government.”
The former minister was responding to allegations made by presidential media aide, Bayo Onanuga, who had accused opposition figures of plotting to destabilize or overthrow the Tinubu-led government. Waziri dismissed the allegations as unfounded and politically motivated.

“It is cheap blackmail to say that people are planning to oust the government,” he said. “We are challenging this government through democratic means.”
