Tension As DSS Take Over National Assembly Over Plot To Impeach Akpabio
The premises of the National Assembly resembled a war zone this morning as operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) took over, fueling rumors of an impending impeachment move against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
DSS officers have assumed control of the Assembly amid reports of a possible impeachment threat against Akpabio.
Speculation suggests that discontented northern senators, reportedly dissatisfied with President Bola Tinubu, are reigniting efforts to remove the Senate President from office.

Any governor saying no to local government autonomy is greedy selfish and a theif. Does that governor know all the needs and problems of all the local government in his state.. Even the state where he’s governing he has not met all their needs, he has not settled the state very well. So such governors should leave local government alone.
