Fayose Petitions CCB, Demands Wike’s Asset Declaration
Prince Isaac Fayose, younger brother to former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has formally petitioned the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), seeking access to the asset declaration records of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike.
The request, dated July 21, 2025, was made under the provisions of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2011 and has since been made public through Fayose’s social media platforms.

In the petition addressed to the CCB, Fayose wrote:
“I, Isaac Fayose of the above contact address, hereby write and apply pursuant to the provision of the Freedom of Information Act 2011 as Amended to formally request for the release of a copy of the Assets Declaration Form submitted by Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike CON who currently occupies the public office as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja which is in your custody.”
He referenced Section 1 of the FOI Act, which grants Nigerians the right to request public records, and cited Section 4(a) that mandates public institutions to respond to such requests within seven days.
Fayose emphasized the need for transparency and accountability from public office holders, stating that the release of Wike’s asset declaration would promote public trust.
