BREAKING: APC Dissolves Enugu State Exco
The lingering crisis within the Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reached a dramatic climax as the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has reportedly dissolved the State Executive Committee led by Chief Ugochukwu Agballa.
Reliable sources within the party confirmed that the decision was taken following months of internal wrangling and leadership disputes that have plagued the Enugu APC since Agballa assumed office.

According to reports, the move may not be unconnected with the rumoured plans for a major political realignment in Enugu State in the coming days — a development that could see a change in the state’s ruling party configuration.
News Week Nigeria gathered that the decision also comes against the backdrop of a 2024 Enugu State High Court order restraining Chief Agballa from parading himself as chairman, pending the determination of a suit filed against him by some aggrieved members of his executive.
Despite the court order, former APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, reportedly declined to act on petitions submitted to his office concerning the internal dispute.
