ADC Promises Total Transparency, Declares Zero Tolerance for Anti-Party Activities
The newly inaugurated National Working Committee (NWC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has pledged to uphold total transparency and internal democracy, while adopting a strict zero-tolerance policy toward anti-party activities and indiscipline.
This declaration was made by the party’s newly elected National Chairman, Senator David Mark, during his inaugural address at the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held earlier today in Abuja.

Senator Mark, a former Senate President and respected political figure, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the party and commended the outgoing leadership led by Hon. Ralph Nwosu for laying a strong foundation for the ADC.
“Today marks the dawn of a new chapter in the ADC. I pledge to serve with integrity, transparency, courage, and vision,” Mark said.
He emphasized that under his leadership, the party would operate on principles of collective leadership, structured financing, and equal ownership by all members. He also promised to eliminate imposition and favoritism, stressing that fairness and internal democracy would be the party’s guiding principles.

“We shall be totally transparent and fair to all. ADC will have zero tolerance for anti-party activities and other forms of indiscipline,” Mark stated firmly.
Senator Mark further unveiled plans to modernize the party’s grassroots structures and ensure meaningful inclusion of youth and women in leadership roles. The ADC, he said, has reserved 35% of its leadership positions for women and will ensure that young people under the age of 40 hold significant roles within the party.
In a bold policy move, the chairman announced that the NWC would soon set up a 50-member Policy Committee focused on crafting solutions across key sectors including health, education, agriculture, technology, security, and infrastructure.

“We want Nigerians to know us as a party driven by unblemished ideology and progressive governance. Our manifesto will reflect the real aspirations of Nigerians,” he added.
Mark also promised a review of the party’s constitution and manifesto to align with modern realities and public expectations.
Concluding his speech, the ADC Chairman extended an open invitation to Nigerians across all walks of life to join the party, assuring that the ADC remains committed to inclusivity and equal opportunity regardless of age, religion, gender, or region.
“Our handshake is across all divides,” he declared.
The inauguration of the new leadership signals a new era for the ADC as it positions itself as a strong alternative ahead of the 2027 general elections.
