An Urgent Appeal: Stand with the Bakor Community Police – For a Safer Tomorrow
Dear Sons and Daughters of Bakor and All Compassionate Friends Around the World,
I write to you with a heavy heart, but also with hope — hope rooted in the courage and resilience of a group of everyday heroes among us: the Bakor Community Police.

These are not government workers. They are not paid professionals. They are ordinary men and women from our communities who have taken on an extraordinary responsibility — to protect lives, uphold peace, and ensure safety across Bakor land.
Day and night, they patrol our towns and villages — unarmed, unpaid, and underequipped. They walk when they have no vehicles. They use their voices when they lack communication tools. They protect with empty hands when security gear is nowhere in sight.
Yet, in spite of all these challenges, they are making a difference. Crime rates have dropped. Communities feel safer. Order is being maintained. And all of this is happening not because they have everything — but because they’ve given everything.

I recently sat down with one of their leaders. His words were simple but powerful:
“We are doing this because no one else will. But we can’t keep going without help.”
Friends, we can not afford to ignore this call.

The safety of our homes, our families, and our future depends on people like them — and people like you.
Today, I ask you from the bottom of my heart:
Will you stand with them?
Your support — financial or material — will go toward:
Motorcycles or vehicles for patrol
Walkie-talkies and communication gear, reflective vests, and safety uniforms, flashlights, boots, and basic protection equipment. First aid kits and emergency supplies. No contribution is too small. Even the smallest gift brings them one step closer to doing their work safely and more effectively.
Let us honour their courage with action. Let us not leave those who protect us to walk alone.
Support the Bakor Community Police. Invest in the safety of our people. Together, we can build a safer tomorrow and drive strange elements away from our peaceful land.
With hope and gratitude,
Kingsley Agbor Soultide
